Place your first Base in the northern afrika area to cover most of europe and down to southern afrika, this gives you a good 2/4 cover of the planet with maxed radars. Your goal is to kill and at least airstrike every UFO that you detect, prioritizing classes that can trigger terror missions and base assaults.It really makes a huge difference in your finances. Get good at manual control for air combat.Always prioritize explosives research when it is available, it's a free upgrade for all your missiles.Production speed is rarely your production bottleneck. Do not waste money on too many engineers and workshops.Corsairs are a luxury item, but nice to have if you can afford them.Marauders are great, but the game is mostly done by the time you can field them in any number.Condors are the worst and you basically should not ever buy any.Foxtrots are the best aircraft in the game and will make up nearly all your engagements.Focus nearly all resources on winning the air war.You do not ever need a second ground team.A third base is nice to have but not essential. Two well located, fully functional bases is enough.If you control the skies, eventually you will win.
